Myingmar Sherpa

Jg. 1941, wurde als 7-jähriger von Ban Jhankri, dem mythischen Urahnen der Schamanen, „entführt”. Er ging bei seinem Vater, Mangare Sherpa, in die Schamanenlehre und wurde mit 15 Jahren offiziell initiiert. Myingmar Sherpa lebt im Bergdorf Dramthali im Osten Nepals. Man nennt ihn den ‘König vom Kalinchok’. Rund 800 Schamanen lernten von ihm.

…was born in 1941. At the age of seven he was „kidnapped“ by Ban Jhankri, the mystical ancestor of the shamans. He acquied the shamanistic knowledge by his father Mangare Sherpa and got his initiation when he was 15. Myingmar Sherpa lives in the mountain village Dramthali in the east of Nepal. He is better known as the ‘King of the Kalinchok’ and taught.
